About the event
FoSMAG warmly welcomes Ally Hayes and Wendy Stokes for October's illustrated talk.
Ally and Wendy's talk will cover the way that Southampton has been depicted by local artists during the last three hundred years. From the moonlit Pethers to Martin Davey, it will show how the town developed from a rural backwater through the Spa era and then how the town became industrialised.
Event Details:
- The talk will be held in the Lecture Theatre at Southampton City Art Gallery.
