Summer Gathering at God's House Tower

FosMAG members are invited for an exclusive tour of God's House Tower, in Southampton's Old Town. Dating back to the 14th century, this monument has variously served as a defensive tower, a prison, a mortuary, and an archaeology museum. It's now enjoying a new life as an arts and heritage venue. 

The tour will include a guided walk through the tower to the roof to enjoy the views of the city, and an opportunity to ask any questions you may have. We'll also have an opportunity to experience the summer exhibition by London-based Iranian artist Bijan Moosavi.

About the event:

• We'll meet outside God's House Tower at 11am on Saturday 12 August 2023.
• Individual member's admission cost £5. Pay on arrival by cash or chip+pin card card.
• We're not selling tickets in advance for this event, but it would be helpful to let us know you're coming by clicking the 'Register' button on this page.
• Weather permitting, we'll be able to gather in the courtyard of God's House Tower for food, coffee and conversation after the guided tour (remember, FoSMAG members enjoy a discount in the cafe and shop!).
